Walking to Floirac

On our first full day at Vayrac we walked to Floirac. It was only about 3 km each way but in the heat it seemed more.
One of the things I love about this area is the varied and small scale farming. Here is a field of walnut trees. In the photo above there's a maize crop.
No crop on these poplars but I loved them.
Looking to our right were the cliffs we had travelled along on the train.
Approaching a bridge...
... across the Dordogne.
Single track only and too narrow for our motorhome.
We reach Floirac...
... and make our way to Le Pourquoi Pas?

Where we each have a couple of beers and a crêpe. Well, why not?
On the way back there was yet more evidence of agricultural diversity.
