On 28 August we walked from Collonges to Meyssac, the lovely little town near to our French holiday home - sold 1999.
We went straight to our favourite bakers for pastries and tarts and ate them with glee in the old market square.
These days the market is just in the street. We should have bought some fruit and veg as we later found thin pickings in the super markets we visited.
And closed filling station was another featurette; along with fewer charcuiteries, but more hair dressers.
