To Continue - On to Turenne

We left Branceilles after lunch and went on a few kilometres to Turenne.
Turenne is another small town we used to visit during holidays to Branceilles. The tower on top of the hill, part of the remains of a fort, is an excellent place to view the surrounding countryside
Here are the gardens below the tower...
where there is a small café where we stopped for a drink.
Back down the hill, where the shadows cast in the narrow roads and alleys were very welcome during the heat of the day.
We ate outside the van...
...which we parked overnight on the aire de services. To park there was free, the only charge was for water or electricity, which we didn't need.
