Friday 16th was the day we left Abbey Wood to go home. First though we called at Denise's Sandwich Bar in Bexley. She's had it two years now but we'd not been before. She gave us something called a 'small breakfast': egg, bacon, sausage beans and toast, and I think tomato. It seemed pretty big to me.
We said goodbye and headed for the Dartford tunnel.
Several hours later, at about 5 p.m. this was the view on the M62 as we approached home.
Great holiday though!
