LEDs Installed in the Van

Eight LED lamps arrived from Hong Kong the other day. I've bought them for the van. Problem has been that the 20w halogen capsules whack the leisure battery . Fitting the LEDs was quite easy although a certain modification of the reflectors was required using narrow nosed pliers. Of course I knew that polarity was important although with this shape of lamp if polarity was wrong it was easy just to reverse the lamp rather than the hard wired connection. That would not have been the case if I'd had to use single sided disc shaped LEDs for the side entry lamp-holders.
So I'm quite pleased with the light they shed and there must be a serious reduction in amperage. The next thing to do is source an Electrosol leisure battery and install that - before the Global! I might wash the van too.
