Wet Trailer Ride

Last Saturday, the final full day of our stay in Dorset, we were due to take a trailer ride from Dan and Harriet's village to the cliffs.
Before we even started Nana and her beautiful grand daughters were becoming very wet.
It just became wetter and wetter. We could not see the cliffs and the coast, which was the purpose of the expedition. Though the event still raised some money for the parish funds. We had already parked the motorhome on what they call 'God's Pocket' in this village. I decided to stay overnight and we drove off of the sodden field on Sunday morning, arriving back in soon to be flooded Walsden around 5.15 p.m. Whilst away, about 25 mm of rain had fallen in Walsden, so our wonderful friend Lynne who looks after the terrible two cats did not have any outdoor watering to do.
