Sight-line
On Friday and Saturday I did a little work in the lane that has lost its name-plate, Church Walk. In order to make it what call easier to reverse the new much longer motorhome, I've cut down the vegetation along the neighbour's fence. This should improve my vision through the wing mirrors of the van. Also I've painted, tastefully I trust, one of the idiotic gate posts to another neighbour's rear access path, which is never, ever used. The white paint used is Farrow & Ball's Slipper Satin, so the decorum of the upper Calder Valley is maintained. Someone else tells me I should just knock down the gate post. That would be a very serious matter indeed.
