Like last year there was a lovely winter garden section where the cornus, and other plants notable for their winter colour, looked spectacular.
John took this photo from inside the Victorian style greenhouse in the Victorian garden.

The alpine house is always a favourite, and today it was a particularly welcome respite from the cold outside.
