I went on a wild flower hunt in Clitheroe organised by the Lancashire branch of the Wild Flower Society. Obviously I represented utter debutant. However, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Many were extremely knowledgeable and or experienced. The weather was beautiful and we found many interesting examples of common enough species. In the interests of botanical accuracy I will have to consult my notes, the guides and keys, doctor the photos in iPhoto, label them properly and only then present them on this blog, even though very few people - and no botanists I think - view it.
