There's a picture of the real engine in the Chugging to Bingley set. This one's got a radiator so I'm guessing it's water-cooled.
We had the engine at highish revs for two hurs and then chugged gently for about four hours and the oil level was still good. We hept the floor up to allow beter air circulation, but it really did well.
Silly me! Don't ask me to repair it Bob. Send me a photo of the engine and I'll put it up.
