The last night on Skye we stayed at the Armadale ferry port. Pouring with rain of course. Bob and Liz were in wait queue 1 nice and early having driven from their luxury rented Scotch hovel just 500 metres away. Obviously that's the Hymer back left, first in wait queue 4 and first on the ferry!
We had time to look round the closed herb garden and woodland walk. Very over-signed and rather preachy.
The mainland.
That's us by the bow door, obviously going to be first off as well! The coach is Polish.
They didn't shout 'let go fore'ard' like in O'Brien novelettes.
It didn't stop raining.
I am so glad I cleaned the roof of the Hymer. You just never know when everyone is going to be able to see your roof.On disembarking at Malaig we drove straight to CC&C Glencoe, pitched up and enjoyed fabulous views of the glen from the Visitor Centre before the weather set in, as it was clearly intending to do.
The Three Sisters, Glencoe
I guess this was a NT course on how to rebuild a stone wall in the Scottish style.
The site had a pretty commanding view of The Three Sisters. Bidean nam Bien was not really visible from here, though that could be one of its ridges poking up second right.
