Leaving Dorset

John and I played cribbage in the motorhome for a few evenings. It was the first time we'd played for ages. It always takes me back to childhood and hearing, and later joining in with my mum and dad. "15-2, 15-4, 15-6, and a pair's 8"
On Easter Monday we mainly hung around at Dan and Harriet's house and John did lots of gardening (I did a little). First we went off to the garden centre for some tools and on the way back stopped in a parking space at the top of the The Five Marys. We had lunch there and enjoyed the view.
Here John is weeding the edges and pruning dead wood out of the lavender. He asked me to say he knows it's the the wrong time of year.
We spent our last night camped in the nearby field known as God's Pocket. We had permission from the parish council to do this and it could be very useful in future visits.
In the morning we met Dory at the bus stop outside God's Pocket. She was off to school for the first day of the new term, and shortly afterwards we were off home.
