Back Home

The cats are always pleased when we're back. Here they are guarding John.
Work in the garden was waiting for us. It had been hot(tish) and dry in the north too.

Some campsites have a waste water drain / grid that you drive over to empty waste. Other campsites have different arrangements that require you to empty your waste water into a container and take it somewhere else to dispose of it.
The waste water outlet from the Hymer is a lot easier to deal with than the Auto-Sleeper, but it is still too low to drain directly into a bucket, or even into our black plastic container that we bought for the purpose. I suggested we needed some kind of tubing to connect the two and luckily we found some in our utility room junk area that fits exactly. It looks like a piece of vacuum cleaner hose and probably is, but we can't remember where it came from or why we kept it, but we're glad we did.

The picture that the girls painted for me is now on the wall in the living room
I think it works really well there.
