Motorhome Hunting Again

Yesterday we went to Lowdham's in Huddersfield looking for a suitable replacement for our 11 year old AutoSleeper Medallion. We want something with at least 4 seat belts so we can take people out with us, and we want a vehicle that is LEZ compliant so we can drive into the London area without being penalised. The maximum possible length is 20 ft / 6 metres, otherwise we can't fit it on our drive. Oh, it also needs to be affordable, not like the £40.000 new Mondial we looked at last week.
There was a van at Lowdham's that ticked all these boxes. In fact it has 5 three point seatbelts and a lap belt, so theoretically 6 of us could go out in it. The chances are though that this might breach the weight limit! Six seat belts must be very rare in such a short van (only 18 ft 2 ins / 5.54 m) so we are rather keen. Planning to go and do a test drive this week and in the meantime trying to think of all the questions to ask and checks to make. (Chris)
