You have to admire a gardener who can swing a mattock at an established bamboo whilst drawing on a roll-up. I hope it was Bogie Roll "for finest smoke or chew". Anna had recommended the bamboo should go and now it has. What's left of it is in seven bags awaiting forward transportation by Piers the decorator who's here working with Mick on our upper living space. There'll be more on that and the re-carpeting anon.
