Over a two week period Mick Blowers and Piers took 8 man-days to decorate the upper living space, stairs and lower hall or passage. The theme is Farrow & Ball Skylight on the walls and Slipper Satin on the woodwork. It's really cool. However the carpet now looks ridiculous so Lancashire & Yorkshire Carpets of Tod have priced a job for the New Year. Chris has put much effort into the colour match and we've agreed on 'Scottish pine'. Many items of furniture are to be re-arranged and the Victorian side table with flap that I restored will go - to Gaby's.
