We had Esmé overnight Boxing Day to Sunday so her latest Gruffalo fad needed watching I think it was twice. She's seen it at panto, I think,because she said she didn't like that, but loves the TV version.
She puts on a lovely mock scared at the scary bits ... but this isn't a photo of being scared, obviously, that's rather harder to capture.
Meanwhile a line of ducks await feeding in sub-zero temperatures.
Our little beck maintains a free arc of canal for them to swim for food.
