
Sophie-Anna, Esmé and Johnny photographed by Chris building a snowperson this morning, actually in driving snow for most of the time. It became colder and I became wetter than was nice so we all stopped at various different times, but we did make an exceedingly good snowperson. Well we all thought so. Note the fascinator touch in
real leaves!

In the glooming of late afternoon on this the shortest day of the year we admire our handiwork before attempting the drive back to Sowerby Bridge. It was still snowing, but the temperature had risen through the last two days from about -4C to 0.05C here in Walsden.

They look like they are having a fabulous time in all that snow. We haven't had snow here :(

Yes, it was lovely Harriet. Ez didn't want to go home! But both of them did get rather wet and the cold got to Ez and me. I hope we can arrange something similar for your much anticipated visit.
