We are on our way to France, but have stayed a couple of nights with Kathy and David in Rochester. Kathy drove us to Margate to see the Turner show at the new gallery dedicated to his name.
A wonderful opportunity to see some of Turner's fine watercolours and oil paintings featuring sky, sea and land - many of Margate itself. We were not allowed to photograph in the galleries, however we did need refreshments afterwards.
Then we walked around the chic-chic quarter of Margate.
