Shrewsbury Showground on the Severn

At the beginning of July we went to our first motorhome and caravan show. It was held at Shrewsbury at the agricultural showground on the banks of the Severn

The location was lovely and the various agriculture related buildings and structures were interesting but somewhat primitive and run down.

Here you can just see motorhomes in the distance. These, and the various stalls took up quite a small part of the vast green area.

I'm looking across the Severn here to the house where Charles Darwin was brought up.
