Christian, Sarah and Sophie-Anna borrowed the motorhome. Here I took a quick snap through our side window as Christian drove it down our lane.
A few seconds later, from the large window, it could be seen crossing the canal bridge,
almost disappearing behind a tree,
and then off.
This was Thursday evening, as Christian was taking it home to load and make an early start on the Friday. They, and the van, all came home safe and sound on Sunday and returned the van on Monday.
Meanwhile we were cropping yet more gooseberries, and a few last strawberries.
