You could travel by riverboat from the showground into the city. As we'd been to Shrewsbury last October and really enjoyed it, and as there was a BOGOF offer for campers we decided to give it a go.
The journey took only about 20 minutes.
In Shrewsbury we did a bit of 'ordinary' shopping and then made our way back towards the park.
Here's the route down to the river through the park. On the left you can just see the boundary to an enclosed area which has ponds and planted areas. More of this later.
We arrive back at the showground and are about to be moored.
