Pont de l'Arche

On 15 May we travelled from the camp site at Bertangles just north of Amiens to Pont de l'Arche at the confluence of the Eure with the Seine about 20 kilometres south of Rouen. There was no difficulty locating these sites or booking in. Facilities were OK. 

We took many photos by the Eure in the evening sun. The Swan was sitting on her nest continuously, despite we campers and divers fisher folk traipsing about the bank of the Eure.

The manifestation, with local representatives wearing sashes, was protesting the closure of a Bosch factory in Les Damps next to Pont de l'Arche.
