First it's on a sloping site at an angle theta ++. The day we arrived it was cold wet and miserable. There was torrential rain this morning. That cleared up and the place is exquisite.
So you walk straight from the campsite onto the littoral, put your leg up if you're a crip like Chris and admire the strand - small but perfectly formed.
Looking back at Plage de Port Sable one can see how small it is - and steep.
Below is an atelier in Navalo which appears to run courses in painting offering 'placements'. So from our French lessons we think this is a training course atelier. En tout cas, they have lot of easels to just leave outside when not open.
We had two longish walks round today in sunshine and strong wind. First to Plage de Port Navalo. In the afternoon we went to the Intermarché because it's absolutely obligatoire for Chris to at least stand outside a super market daily. We'll shop there tomorrow- and so pressed on the the core mission of the afternoon: to buy 8 stamps. It took 25 minutes in total in the Post. Then we walk via the chemins de Saules & Pouil to Port Lenn, thence back to Navalo and two beers by the sea, watching lug worm diggers the bay.
The evening sun at 20.30hrs. on our campsite. Note the Knaus right and the VW camper in trendy green left - one could hear the thing when it arrived.
