On Day 3 we waited at Abbey Wood for the 11.37, which had been the 11.05 from Rochester when Kathy and David caught it.
This time we really did get to Charing Cross. Then on to the crypt of St Martin-in-the-Fields for lunch.
On to the Royal Academy to queue for David Hockney's A Bigger Picture exhibition, which we were really impressed by once we'd got used to the crowds.

The Hockney show was an experience not to be missed - exciting use of 'traditional' colour, composition and perspective; and innovative perspective too. The use of digital technology would have been interesting if I could have seen it through the crowds.
