After Chris posted a photo of me holding a peely wally gathering of carrots from the Walsden raised bed, I thought I would show followers what sort of crop I've actually raised. On Wednesday afternoon I was down there harvesting for The Staff of Life gastric pub in Cornholm. I lifted 4.4 kg and kept the above 1 kg. There are still plenty left. You are looking at a mix of Autumn King and Eskimo. Early Nantes did not do well from the late sowing, though useful to know the others can cope.
