We pitched at the Sniperley Park and Ride on the northern outskirts of Durham City. The bus trip was free due to our extreme age, so a very cheap and convenient way of parking a motorhome all day and seeing Durham. On our return at around 5 o'clock there was this dramatic sky scape. I played around with the ISO, exposure, aperture and mode settings quite a lot. These three photos give some idea of the scene. Very nice to find designated parking in England.
