Today we in fact went to Scorton on a hunt for quality geraniums. We found these, and more, at the Barn, Scorton where we had arranged to meet Bob & Liz for refreshments. It was great to meet up again and plan our grand trip to the Loire this Autumn. Bob had to spoil it by dragging in work. Me has to read a piece for spelling and such. My relatives would fall over laughing if any of them were still alive.
He did tell us a funny story about driving through Germany on the way to the NNDR conference in Denmark. The driver, a germanophile, said the roads in Germany were now as bad as those in England. So Bobster replied 'suppose they can't get the slave labour these days'.
Wonderful afternoon and plenty of excellent tuck.
