Sophie-Anna stayed Wednesday through Thursday and we all did interesting stuff: watched 'Nancy Drew - Girl Detective'; installed and tried out the new microscope (highlight was a milk tooth of Sophie-Anna's - with blood); walks (as above); purchases from Riggs which Johnny had to pot-on as he is the resident gardener despite his being throughly engaged with transplanting roses at the time! Obviously you are asking, why had you waited until the end of February to transplant the roses: frost and rain I reply. Only now the Spring-like weather has made the garden jump forward several days.
