The Garrya Eliptica will look splendid when it covers the house wall, in say 2020.

I thought this witch-hazel rather drab until today.
The grasses make a good effect in snow. Pity it is so dull though. Sun appears, snow melts - it does round here. I suppose it's not so cold at the moment.
