Old Labour in the Kitchen

To help nice Mr. Milliband with his two kitchen problem, his paymasters at Transport House have released a couple of tea towels with old  election posters printed on them.

We proudly, and exclusively, display them here. "We will not be seeking a third tea towel" said a spokes person for Mr. Milliband.

The above is for the 1952 general election. Labour lost.

This one is for the 1929 election.  Labour formed a minority government. It was the first time all citizens of 21 and over could vote in a general election. It was the first time my mother voted, as she was 21 then - for the Communist candidate, I believe.
