Today, we learnt there was supposed to be a market in town so we walked in to buy cheese and such. There were two fish vans outside the church.
The helpful old women of yesterday had cleared off. We were left with heavy traffic and turned into the back street to our campsite. The traffic was heavier in every respect. It was making for the Aldi, Lidl, Leclerc and McDonald's shopping centre in a ZI.
Before one reached the new big shops we passed through near dereliction.
Once, this had been farming land and a very few of those properties now remain. Below is one struggling to survive by direct sales of bought-in products.
Here old apple juicing machinery was on sale.
Our campsite was once a farm. The reception, sanitary block and restaurant are very obviously restored farm buildings.
Tonight's meal was nothing special, prolly from the above. Just expensive.
