Morning in Deauville - 22 May

Next morning in beautiful weather we turned left into Deauville. Very chic or is it chi-chi? Anyway nice local shopping if well expensive.

 How much ornamentation can one shopping parade take?

 Now this is what I visit France for - local markets full of books I can't read but want to buy and stacks of fresh food. It would be nice to buy the illustrated adventure book for Kate's collection.

In Deauville the biggest poshest hotel is this one the Normandy Barrière. Rooms from 238 euros per night.
