Chris's leg thingies were much improved by Sunday morning and she was able to walk down the hill into the town.

Brocante is a big thing in France and as we shall see even in sleepy but chic Veules-les-Roses laundry utensils are very important. "The Good Life" in France is all about galvanised cleaning utensils as the above pic from a leading webbo shows.
Here, a local woman in typical peasant dress balances a traditional hand-crafted basket on her head surrounded by the type of laundry utensils that are still in use.
I was looking for a French wireless set, you know the sort that can't receive The Archers. There were none.
More Normandy skies with Baudelaire clouds. Miserable looking cove. Must be the dope in his confiture.
Something I've not shown at all is that the town is full of rose gardens.
For me that's the end of our trip to Brittany and Normandy. Chris might post more about interesting stuff such as travelling on the shuttle and staying in south London for two nights.
