This New Year we travelled to Rochester as David had had a hip replacement on 17th December.
We were privileged to join him on his first proper walk across their road and the recreation area, down to the River Medway.
Here is David practising the very useful 'pointing with the stick' technique.
A few days after we arrived home some lovely flowers arrived thanking us for the visit.
They are still being very much enjoyed and appreciated but I can't help feeling we should be the ones sending flowers after a really enjoyable time with friends.
