In November we were in Dorset and when John blogged 'The Christening' he included a photo of Harriet's painting of Osmington Bay. He wanted to buy it but we weren't sure if it would fit anywhere. Harriet suggested we borrow it to try it out for size, so here it is on our wall and all paid for.
Then, in early December we decided it was time to get a bigger TV. After the 32" one we had we thought going up to a 47" was a bit excessive for us, but it isn't and we're really pleased with it. We particularly like all the things it can do that we'd managed to live without so far: pausing, catch up and on demand TV, one touch recording (with a neat little attached hard drive), and lots of apps. Apart from that it's a great picture which, with my new improved eyes, I can really appreciate.
