We had a relatively laid back Christmas
On Christmas day Gaby, Mark and Esmé came for lunch.
The roaring fire wasn't really needed, apart from providing cosiness. The weather was very mild on Christmas day and we ended up opening the windows.
Esmé tries to 'read' and understand a cracker joke
while the rest of us eat.
On Boxing day Christian, Sarah and Sophie-Anna came. Here we are in the study opening presents from under the tree.
Later Sophie-Anna gets on with some art work.
