Broadway, just in Worcestershire, but still the Cotswolds I believe. It was growing dark when we arrived at the CC site, but we wanted a walk into town, as we had bothered to drive for half an hour off of the wonderful M5 at Tewkesbury. There were still many shopping opportunities even if the vernacular architecture was only dimly perceived.

I got stuck in Broadway one night while hitchiking home from the Isle of Wight. It was 1963. I haven't been back since.....
