Autumn Leaves
This is Gary. He needs a haircut. Esmé is the stylist to do it. Since her last efforts with the secateurs just look at his luxurious growth.
Sunday was rather nice and it was very pleasant to have Gaby, Mark and Ez around for a couple of hours.
What we did was go round the grave stones and see how many 'Johns' we could count. There's a message in this perhaps.
I was quite surprised to find the military graves and in particular one for a young man who died of wounds in Chatham naval hospital (aged 24) who had been evacuated from Dunkirk in May 1940. Of course he did not have a WGC standard headstone because he was DoW. His name does not liveth for evermore.
Fascinating cane work. "Just like your mum at 9".
