1st November!

Today has been an amazing start to November.  It started out somewhat misty but by the time we started our walk with Lynne (10.30a.m.) it was beginning to clear.

Not only beautiful colours but a clear blue sky

This pool is where John had supplied the cows with water a couple of weeks ago.  It's just a large puddle as a result of lots of recent heavy rain.

Another 'temporary' pool, though the vegetation here is a bit is a bit reedy, so it does frequently get boggy.

 On the way home now.

Nearly home.

All of the above are Chris's photos, snaps really.  Hopefully John will soon put up some of his taken recently with his new filters.

In the afternoon Esmé, Gaby and Mark called round with cakes and pastries. Note the hand waiting to grab the strawberry tart.
There will be something about the wonderful Lee Filters gear I was given for my birthday ... laters.
