Lesnes Abbey at Abbey Wood

 We arrived in Abbey Wood on Monday to beautiful sunshine and on Tuesday it was even sunnier. So in the morning we walked to Lesnes Abbey, explored the ruin  and walked through the woods.

 Chris has a photo somewhere or other of at least Daniel in his first communion suit at Lesnes Abbey. It's a bit vague, but it could have been a processional on a feast day.

The gardens and woodland is very well tended. There are protected wildflower areas -from dogs and people that is.

So it could be that the above really is a wild daffodil, but I doubt it.
