Friday 1st June was Esmé's sixth birthday. To celebrate she had a birthday meal at Milestones, a pizza restaurant in Ripponden. She was joined by her friend Darcey, Gaby (Mum), Mark (Markie), Sue (Grandma), Ian (Popsy), John (Johnny) and me (Nana)

The thing on fire is a Magic Melt: a concoction of ice cream, cream, marshmallows and chocolate biscuity stuff. It was for Esmé and Darcey to share, but of course there was enough for everyone.
Full up and tired, Ez has a hug with Johnny. What isn't shown in this sequence of photos is the amount of time Ez and Darcey spent under the table. The evening was enjoyed by all.
