Harriet Barber, Living Artist

One the next day we met Harietta Barbaraski, the Rumanian sensation new to rural Dorset. She is seen here in front of an unfinished portrait of Dorelia filling the whole of one wall in her painting room. This was followed by a visit to her parish hall studio, lavishly heated and about to be cunningly re-appointed by skilful carpentry.
The other cat is called Keats.
Maeve's half-term started today, but Dory's has not, so after helping to fix the trampoline we went to the garden centre for a parrot, another new railway book and boring gardening things. In deference to the horticultural ambience, the parrot has been named Broccoli.
