Broad Beans & Potatoes from Gorpley

On Sunday afternoon a gang of six went up to Gorpley to lift Charlotte and pick broad beans. I've photographed the results which were weighed at the Walsden site. About 80 kilos of potatoes and maybe 30 of beans. However Sarah B-J reports that buyers are not anxious to purchase. Umm wrong crop. The Staff of Life's cook said the spuds boiled to bits. Well mine didn't. And of course after podding for ages one has very few beans to show for all that effort.
