Claremont is a NT park without a mansion. The grounds were first set out by Vanbrugh and others had a go too. Benefits from far too many rhododendrons, very few of which were in flower, or looked likely to be. However a wonderfully peaceful calm enclosed the park. Refreshments were excellent.
