Bob and Liz came to see us on Saturday and we had a fine meal at the Cross Keys in Walsden. Bob had brought over his self-assembly roof rack for his son's narrow boat, moored at the marina in Hebden. On Saturday Bob and myself went to see if the rack would fit. Some minor carpentry was needed, which we did back in our garage. Then on Sunday afternoon Bob and Tom fitted the roof rack.
The turbine blades of Tom's wind generator can be seen here. The generator was one reason for making the rack because a secure storage place is needed for it when it is not in use.
Liz sawed up some of Tom's vast pile of firewood.

It's good fun making boat bits because they are useful, even if it is a bit Fred Karno.
