We Meet Jan & Jan On Their Great Adventure

We planned to meet up with Jan & Jan in Concarneau at camping Les Sable Blanc. That's a very 'busy' campsite with a bit of a steep walk down into the town and the beach, the name of which I'll leave you to guess.

Looking through the usual tourist shops in the old port was top priority.

The shapes wharfage makes in old ports, I find fascinating.

Jan explained to me about the ruddy turnstones shown below, which are rare in the British Isles - like everything else except people.

After we walked back there was much comedy van moving from one pitch to another in order to catch the sun. This did not entirely work out well.

Jan offered himself up as cook, mainly because he wanted to show off his new BBQ gas thing. The result was edible.
