In Torigni-sur-Vire

After leaving Montreuil we were heading towards Brittany where we hope to meet up with Jan and Jan, possibly in Concarneau on south coast of that peninsula.  I judged it to be too far for me to drive in one day and we decided to stop in Torigni-sur-Vire, just because it's about as far as I could drive what with the wrist! And anyway there's an open campsite there, which is rare in late September.

We found it to be a lovely welcoming place and were especially grateful for yesterday's wonderful autumn weather. Today has been rather dull and wet, so we did laundry.

We guess the campsite is an old municipal which was part of the lake and parkland (below) only just outside the town. In fact this parkland was prolly part of the château domain that is now the town hall! The whole municipality is beautifully looked-after.
