Dorsetshire Education

We drove straight from Crystal Palace to the Red Lion in Dorset near to Maeve & Dory's residence. Such beautiful autumnal weather, the Stour majestic as ever.

So the first thing to do on Saturday was visit Maeve's school, Knighton House, near Bryanston. Actually Dan had to take her home really after Saturday school, but as it was Christmas fĂȘte day we thought we'd see Santa arrive. Pony and trap is most appropriate on metalled roads one finds, rather than traditional reindeer and sleigh.
Girlish anxiety mounts as Santa's gifts do not seem to be equitably distributed.

At last darling Maeve grasps a prize, sorry present, direct from Mr. Santa's stand-in here at Knighton House school for girls.

After all that excitement we are shown round the school. This is Maeve's class room where learning French is very much in evidence. Good, but no verb tables.

Maeve pointed out  the pony she rode in the morning out of the 20-odd in the school's stable.
