There are about three pairs of Canada geese on our reach of the canal. The ones next door have produced four goslings. This could be nearly their first outing on the water. Very protective parenting going on.
Update on the situation 17 May: I saw only two goslings today, so it seems two have been lost overnight.
Above is a progress photo of the tomato seedlings re-potted and then blogged on 25 April. They are coming on nicely.
